“It is not the ship so much as the skillful sailing that assures the prosperous voyage.” -George William Curtis

The Coal Harbour Marina is located at 1525 Coal Harbour Quay in Vancouver, British Columbia. It offers many services and amenities, including annual and guest moorage, cable-ready slips, courtesy computer and high-speed internet connections, dockside arrival and departure assistance, electronic security gate access and video monitoring, and fiberglass dock boxes. Additional services include household recycling, a launderette, washrooms and showers, wireless internet, tenant and guest vessel waste pump out, 24-hour staffing, and phone, fax and photocopy services.

Coal Harbour is an area in Burrard Inlet between the Brockton and Downtown Peninsulas. It is also the name of an upscale neighbourhood adjacent to its southern shoreline. Coal Harbour is bounded by Stanley Park to the north and the Financial District in the south. To its east is Deadman’s Island, the site of the naval station and museum HMCS Discovery. The discovery of coal in the harbour in 1862 inspired its name. A floating gas station for marine vessels is located within Coal Harbour.
