Relax and enjoy the best view of Vancouver from the waterfront!

For a nice change of pace, take the SeaBus from Downtown Vancouver to explore Lonsdale Quay Market in North Vancouver. The market is located in Lonsdale Quay at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver. It provides a distinctive retail experience and is a popular North Shore destination.

Twenty-six years after opening its doors, the market celebrates its rich diversity with approximately 80 fresh food vendors, artisans, restaurants, retail shops, and the Lonsdale Quay Hotel. Vendors sell a variety of artisan cottage-industry foods and handmade crafts. A multitude of merchants sell breads, cheese, flowers, fresh pasta, produce, and seafood.

Drop by by Screaming Mimi’s for a fresh made to order chowder. You even get to catch your own shellfish. George’s Famous Souvlaki makes the tastiest chicken pita stuffed with tender pieces of chicken, creamy sauce, crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, hot sauce and onions. Don’t forget the hot sauce!

Community events and concerts given by local bands are held on the waterfront plaza. Visitors can climb the 77 steps to the top of the Q Tower for the best view in the city. A view of the Vancouver harbour can be seen from the plaza outside the market, which is located adjacent to the Charles A Spratt SeaBus Terminal and the Lonsdale Quay Bus Loop.

The Lonsdale Quay Market is open seven days a week. The food market is open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and the retail shops are open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The restaurants are open later in the evening.
